Our Ministries

local outreach

We believe that God has placed us here in the Redland district of South Florida for the purpose of living out the values of His Kingdom in our surrounding communities. Our location is no accident! God calls us to serve Homestead and the entire region with the love of Christ.

Where has God called us to missions locally?

  • Mercy Fund provides monetary assistance to our church family as well as to people locally who are in special need. It also supports several ministries in our immediate area that provide practical assistance to people in need.
  • Wednesday night is a special time for kids and students to explore the Bible, play games, sing songs, make crafts, and meet new friends. This ministry meets Wednesday nights during the school year for kids of all ages.
  • The Missions Ministry exists to extend the Kingdom of God locally and worldwide. Redland's has an active short term missions program that seeks to build relationships with our missionaries, labor with them in the Gospel and support their ministries.
  • Home and hospital visits are made on a regular basis to those with connections to people in our congregation. While visiting, we share the love of Christ in word and deed.
  • Redlands partners with gospel-centered churches and ministries throughout South Florida to further the work of Christ's kingdom to see God's will done "on earth as it is in heaven."

    MINISTRY PARTNERS

    The kingdom of God is much larger than Redlands Community Church. He is at work in various churches and organizations throughout South Dade county. We desire to partner with those who are making a positive impact in our community, doing so in the name of Christ our King.

    Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami

    PCA Build

    The Presbyterian Church In America (PCA) is helping Miami Habitat build a new home for the Cargill Family in Liberty City. In addition to pledging $25,000 in support, the PCA has also committed volunteers from several of its South Florida churches to help with construction, scheduled for this spring.

    The PCA and its affiliate churches are once again demonstrating the power of God's love to change lives and communities. Sherman Cargill, a single father of four, recognizes this: "I thank the Lord for Habitat for Humanity for what you are doing for the families in these hard times, and I am looking forward to being part of Habitat and helping in the building of my new home."

    South Florida churches participating in the PCA Build:

    * Granada Presbyterian Church

    * Key Biscayne Presbyterian Church

    * Old Cutler Presbyterian Church

    * Kendall Presbyterian Church

    * Pinelands Presbyterian Church

    * Crossbridge Church

    * Redlands Community Church
